A Story about Vivian Hickling | Realistic Scene

Real-life events from the WW1, 1919.

Originally, the only plan for this scene was to make the pocket watch, but I felt I needed to do more for my portfolio. Two days after starting this project, I went to my grandma's and found a folder on the kitchen counter. This folder contained all the original documents, letters, drawings, and photos of a man named Vivian. Vivian Hickling served in WWI in 1914 and tragically died in 1919 due to drowning in India. He was my great-great uncle and the letter shown in the scene is the letter that Vivian's mother received to let her and Vivian's loved ones know about the sad news.
